Based in Sheffield as a new regional sister company to Spark Media Partners – Spark Media Partners North is dedicated to nurturing and developing a new wave of storytellers, across all non-scripted genres. Our aim is to create and deliver exciting new shows, out of London, made by the eclectic, diverse and authentic voices from the north.
Spark Media Partners North is set up as a partnership to incentivise the best production talent in the north of England to work with us. Our philosophy is:- work with us, help us become a success and then share in it. Growing a pool of extraordinary regional talent will enable us to deliver the best possible programmes to broadcasters.
Utilising the production, finance, legal and development teams from Spark Media Partners ensures we can deliver bold and dynamic series, with high production values outside of London.

We’re developing a large range of premium quality formats whilst already in production on brand new Channel 4 daytime series Tool Club, prime-time quiz pilot The Tower and corporate work with The Prince’s Trust.

Sustainability
We aim to provide top quality programming while also doing everything we can to keep our environmental impact to a minimum, both locally and when filming abroad.
The Unit Base is kitted out with recycling bins, water coolers for easy refills and low energy bulbs. Crew are all issued with re-usable water bottles to reduce plastic consumption and we are committed to sourcing locally and sustainably.
Our productions are signed up to BAFTA's Albert scheme to focus on reducing the environmental impact of filming and to establish a workable and realistic plan to help decrease our carbon footprint. There is a 'think before you print' policy and we only use rechargeable batteries.
We're using low emission/hybrid vehicles for unit cars, taxis and couriers. We ask people to car share and have a 'no idling' policy. We also use offsetting programmes with airlines when booking team travel abroad for those emissions we can't reduce.
